Interior Design and Architecture Services in Dubai and the UAE
IDEA ART Interior Architects (IAIA) is an interior architecture studio in Dubai Design District, practising since 1994. We take villas, hotels, restaurants and workplaces from the first brief to handover: interior design, architectural consultancy, development management, project management and site supervision, and furniture procurement. Since 1994 the studio has worked on more than 320 projects in 12 countries — 210 residential, 42 hotels and 69 restaurant, corporate and commercial spaces.
1
Interior Design
Interior design in Dubai and across the UAE for villas, apartments, hotels, restaurants and offices. We settle the plan first, then the materials, lighting, joinery and furniture, drawn to the detail and tested against how the space will be lived in or run. Private villas such as Villa K, Winner of Best Luxury Villa Interior Design in Dubai, UAE at the Luxury Lifestyle Awards 2024, show the approach.
2
Architectural Consultancy
With our architectural consultancy services, we shape the building and its interiors together from the first plan. Massing, plans, façades and authority submissions are drawn with the interiors in mind, so the house and its rooms are designed as one, in line with UAE building regulations and each master developer’s requirements.
3
Project Management
Project management keeps design, budget and programme in one set of hands. We coordinate consultants, contractors and suppliers from design approval to handover, track cost and time against the agreed plan, and report at each milestone. For a new villa, our plot-to-keys estimator gives a first view of budget and milestones.
4
Project Supervision
Site supervision protects the design once construction starts. We visit the site at agreed stages, review samples, mock-ups and shop drawings, and record what must be corrected, so materials, finishes and details are built as drawn. Our site team checks the work against the drawings, detail by detail, until handover.
5
Furniture & Design Procurement
Furniture and design procurement follows the drawings: loose furniture, lighting and accessories are specified with the interiors, then sourced, made to measure where needed, ordered and tracked through delivery and installation. We work with makers and suppliers in the UAE and abroad for furniture, décor, and fixtures that complement your project’s concept and design vision.
Interior Design Projects in Dubai, the UAE and Abroad
The projects explain the services best: private villas in Dubai and Abu Dhabi such as Villa K, hotels, restaurants and offices across the UAE, and work abroad — including Villa Yakro Hotel & Resort in Côte d’Ivoire, Winner at the DNA Paris Design Awards 2025. See the full list of awards, or browse the portfolio below.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
We are interior architects: the same studio shapes the plan, the interiors and the details, and follows the work on site until handover. IAIA has practised from Dubai since 1994, on more than 320 projects in 12 countries, and its work has been recognised by the DNA Paris Design Awards, SBID and the Luxury Lifestyle Awards — see our awards.
Yes. Since 1994 that has meant 210 residential projects, most of them private villas, 42 hotels and 69 restaurant, corporate and commercial spaces — in the UAE and abroad, from Abu Dhabi to Côte d’Ivoire and Rome. Browse them on our work page.
It depends on the scope and on where the project starts. Fitting out an existing villa or apartment moves faster than a house designed from the plot, which adds architecture, authority approvals and construction. We agree a programme with each client at the start; for a new villa, our plot-to-keys estimator gives a first idea of budget and milestones.
Yes. Furniture, lighting and décor are specified as part of the design, and our furniture and design procurement team sources custom-made and designer pieces to suit each project’s concept.
