314 | Villa Sira
One green stone, carried through the house.
Villa Sira is built around a single material decision: one green marble, carried through the house. It first appears as the plinth beneath a floating stone stair, rises as the double-height wall of the main living room, then returns as the kitchen island and in the master suite.
Around it the palette stays quiet — honed travertine for columns and walls, walnut and oak for joinery, bronze and fluted glass wherever light needs to be filtered. Public rooms open to the garden through full-height glazing; private rooms close in, with curved walls and indirect light. The result reads as one continuous composition rather than a sequence of rooms.
