A ring that tells the story of the craft.
A footwear showroom set inside a warehouse, shown here at concept design. At its centre is a ring: a round display device that merges function with the customer’s experience, its curved walls perforated with a pattern that recalls the craftsmanship behind the production. Shelving runs on both faces of the ring, so every surface becomes display.
Circulation moves fluidly around and through it, past products and displayed artefacts such as old sewing machines, along a linear timeline that tells the story of the brand. Terracotta walls, a terrazzo coffee counter, oak shelving and soft daylight carry the same warm palette into the café, the meeting room and the offices on the mezzanine.

A ring at the centre, a story around it.
This project is a footwear showroom set within a warehouse in Dubai, now under construction. The design makes the craft behind the product its subject. A single round display device, the ring, stands at the centre and organises everything else: what is shown, how visitors move and where the story is told. The interior received an Honorable Mention in Interior Design – Retail at the 2025 DNA Paris Design Awards.
A translucent facade presents the warehouse by day and at night. Inside, the ring's curved walls are perforated and lined with shelves on both faces, so product sits on either side of the same wall. Visitors circle it along a timeline of artefacts, including old sewing machines, towards a terracotta stair. The warm palette continues beyond the showroom. A terrazzo coffee counter sits under hanging greenery, and oak shelving and leather chairs bring the product to the meeting table and the mezzanine offices.
A Dubai showroom design inside a warehouse has to turn a large, plain shed into a place people want to spend time. The ring does that: it gives the open floor a centre, doubles the display surface, and sets a route that leads visitors around the collection and along the story of the craft. Carrying the same warm palette into the café, the meeting room and the offices means buyers, visitors and staff share one experience of the brand. Old sewing machines on the timeline connect the product to how it is made. The project is under construction, with interior architecture by IAIA.
