The idea

Earthy tones, a quiet mind.

A private office for a business leader: a place to step away from a busy schedule and work in calm. The palette follows earthy tones and natural materials, chosen to keep the mind relaxed and focused. Oak panelling and fluted timber wrap the walls, and sheer curtains soften the daylight.

The executive office pairs a sculpted desk in dark stone, set on a travertine base with a built-in planter, with a lounge corner of soft upholstery and a textured relief. Free-standing shelving in black steel divides the room without closing it. The team offices follow the same oak and stone, with long shared desks under linear lights and planting along the windows.

About the project

Oak, stone and steel at desk height

The visit starts in the executive office, where the desk stands within the room rather than against a wall. The lounge corner lies beyond it, partly screened by the shelving, so the room holds two moods without a door between them. From there the route leads to the team offices, longer rooms where the desks run in lines towards the windows and the plants give the view a green edge.

Fluted and flat oak wrap the walls of the executive office, the fluting adding shadow and rhythm while the flat panels stay calm. The desk is the heaviest piece: dark stone on travertine, with the planter set into it, so a working surface also carries something living. Black steel shelving is the one dark line in the room, open enough to let light through while marking off the lounge. The 120 m² office keeps to these three materials.
